Medify is a website dedicated to helping patients make better choices about medical procedures and treatments by obtaining valuable information beforehand. The site provides a search that spans a diverse collection of medical studies completed by thousands of physicians, researchers and medical institutions. The user can search using a keyword or the name of a condition, treatment or facility to get started. Results vary based on the type of information submitted. If the user submits a condition, the results will show the total number of related studies and patients, lists of potential treatments and institutions currently conducting research. When viewing study lists, the user can sort by the number of patients that participated. Study overviews also provide dates, who conducted the study and a brief description.

The user simply adds a condition, facility name or other health-related keyword and the site finds study results that match. The color scheme favors a trendy green that gives the design a calm yet refreshing feel. There is absolutely no clutter and the logo and info graphics used throughout add depth and visual appeal while highlighting information.

Any visitor can search Medify however users are invited to sign up to take advantage of all available benefits. To get started, the user can click the dark green “Login or Sign Up” button in the upper, right hand corner of the homepage. The new account creation form appears in the right column on the next page. A blue “Connect with Facebook” button is also available for users who prefer to register that way. Those who complete the form are asked to supply a name, email address and password. The user is automatically signed in after successfully submitting the form.

Medify is available to all users for free. There are no subscription fees required to create an account. The user can search as often as they like and there are no limits placed on the data searched. The website does not offer a premium paid membership at this time. Users should note that Medify is still in beta. It is possible that a fee may be added later, although this is not indicated on the website.

Medify is an excellent resource for anyone who needs to obtain health condition information.
